Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and KipperClipper ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using kipperclipper.com you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use KipperClipper

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are 13 to 17, you may only use KipperClipper after your parent or legal guardian approves your account through the link we email them, and they agree to these terms for you. We never ask for an ID. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we delete it. You must give us accurate information, including your date of birth.

2. Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us right away at support@kipperclipper.com if you think someone else has used it. One person per account, and please don't create extra accounts to get more free clips.

3. Your content and permissions

You may only submit videos that you own or have permission to use and edit, for example from creators who run official clipping programs. You keep any rights you have in your content. You give us permission to download, process, store and show it to you only to run the service. You are responsible for the clips you make and post, and for following YouTube's and other platforms' rules.

4. Copyright complaints

We respect copyright. If you believe content processed through KipperClipper infringes your copyright, email support@kipperclipper.com with your contact details, the work, where the infringing material is, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Plans, payment and automatic renewal

Free accounts include 5 clips in total, for videos up to 20 minutes, with a KipperClipper watermark. Pro costs $25 per month and Unlimited costs $55 per month, plus any tax that applies. Paid plans renew automatically every month and your card is charged on each renewal date until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay. If we ever change a price, we will email you at least 14 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then. Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans include unlimited clips subject to a fair-use daily safety limit.

6. Switching plans and cancelling

You can switch plans or cancel at any time in the Plans section of your dashboard. Cancelling takes one click and there is nothing to fill in. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and won't renew; you can resume it until then. When you upgrade, you are charged the prorated difference right away; when you downgrade, unused time is credited to your next bill.

7. Refunds

Monthly payments are generally not refundable, but if something went wrong (for example a double charge, or the service didn't work for you), email support@kipperclipper.com within 14 days and we'll make it right. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law where you live, including any legal right to cancel and get a refund.

8. Storage

Clips are deleted automatically 1 hour after you download them, or 24 hours after they are made if they are never downloaded. On Unlimited you can store clips until you delete them, up to your storage limit; stored clips are kept for 7 days after an Unlimited plan ends, then deleted. Please save your downloads.

9. Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service, get around limits, resell access, or use it for anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes others' rights. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we may report illegal activity.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this deletes your data and cancels any subscription. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. If we end your account without a good reason, we will refund any unused time on a paid plan.

11. The service, as is

We work hard to keep KipperClipper running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". AI clip selection and captions can contain mistakes, so review clips before posting. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

13. Indemnity

If you use content you don't have the rights to, or break these terms, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll email you or show a notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use KipperClipper after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where KipperClipper is operated, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local consumer law.
