What videos can I use?
Public YouTube videos with captions (almost every video has automatic captions). Only use videos you own or have permission to clip, such as content from creators who run clipping programs.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes, depending on video length and how many clips you ask for. You can watch progress live, and your clips appear as soon as they're ready.
What does "fair use" mean?
Pro and Unlimited have no monthly clip cap. To keep things fast for everyone, there's a generous daily safety limit that normal clipping never comes close to.
How do I cancel?
Open Plans in your dashboard and press "Cancel subscription". It takes one click, there's nothing to fill in, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
How long are my clips stored?
Each clip is deleted 1 hour after you download it (so you have time to re-download if something goes wrong), or after 24 hours if you never download it. Unlimited can store clips.
How long can videos be?
On Free, videos can be up to 20 minutes long. Pro and Unlimited have no video length limit, so full podcasts and stream VODs work too.
Do clips have a watermark?
Free clips have a small, see-through KipperClipper logo at the top and bottom. Pro and Unlimited clips have no watermark.
What's the difference between Pro and Unlimited?
Pro gives you unlimited clips with no watermark. Unlimited adds the full Studio: any clip length, your own caption fonts, colors and styles, instructions for the AI, layouts, hook titles, a progress bar, your @handle, clip storage, post kits, 20 clips per video and 60 fps.
Is there an age limit?
You need to be at least 13. If you're 13 to 17, a parent or guardian approves your account by email first. We never ask for an ID.
